Casio Magic MGC-10

Casio Magic MGC-10

It was only a matter of time before Casio came up with a watch that did magic tricks — after all they had squeezed almost everything else into a digital watch you could think of…games, calculators, melody alarms, compasses, mp3 players, cameras, GPS, pedometers, databanks…everything but a phone!

This watch, developed in association with Japanese magician Tomohiro Maeda, contains five magic tricks that are both simple and clever. Without a manual you’d never work out how to do the tricks, or how they are done.

I’m not a fan of the reversed LCD or the style of the digits, but the concept of the watch and how it functions is quite something.

These still appear on eBay in new condition but they are getting rarer.
